Subject: With gratitude

Dear Pastor, my heart is filled this morning with a lot of gratitude towards you for all you've done in my life, your labour of love. I was going thru' some early correspondence and reminiscing about a few things, right from the early days, and I just want to say thank you for your patience and tolerance and forgiveness and love, and persistence and forbearing and giving freely of yourself and ministry to ensure I get to where am supposed to be.

I have a young lady in my life right now whom I seem to be drawn to, but she reminds me so much of me, sometimes I want out of the relationship! It makes me realize what you went thru' with me!!

PS. Thought I should expatiate on the ways she reminds me of me, especially in my early years with you. First of all, she has no clue who I am; she probably believes she is the one to minister to me. She is deep and complex with a lot hidden deep down, which she won't allow to come to the surface. On surface appears to be an accomplished professional, but I see a lot of unhappiness and unspoken fears and insecurity, and ...pride.
